$3,900 To Rent An ID Scanner?!?!

Fortitude Valley in Australia is mandating bars have ID scanners and security guards. The ID scanners are being mandated to curb alcohol-related violence.

Businesses are pushing back due to the price tag...$5,200 AUS ($3,900 US) a year! That is crazy! Isn't there a less expensive ID scanner in Australia?
